Good to know

Everything you'd
like to know.

The answers most people ask before their first visit — booking, arrival, what to wear, and our health and payment policies. Anything missing? Just send us a message; we love hearing from new clients.

Booking & Arrival

Before you visit

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes — we work strictly by appointment so every session gets the time and care it deserves. Bookings are made through our online booking page (available 24/7), and repeat bookings can be made at reception.

When should I arrive for my treatment?

Returning clients: please arrive five minutes before your treatment.

First-time clients: please arrive ten minutes early to fill in a short medical form. If you don't see a staff member immediately when you walk in, they may be finishing a treatment — please relax in reception and we'll be with you shortly.

How do I enter the building?

You'll be sent a door code via email and text ahead of your appointment. Staff will also buzz you in if they see you at the door — please do not bang on the door.

Is there parking?

Yes — free parking for up to three hours in the shared car park outside Total Fitness. No height restrictions or barriers. By tram, disembark at the Whitefield Metrolink stop, a short walk away.

Do you have disabled access?

Yes — level threshold access for wheelchairs and wide doors throughout. WC facilities are designed to accept a chair, and the top car park has allocated spaces for badge holders. Please note: we are unable to provide bed lifts or other lifting aids. Beds are approximately 85cm from the floor, and staff will always do their best to assist.

Your Treatment

During your session

I've never had a Thai massage — is it for me?

Absolutely. Whether you're nervous, in pain, just curious, or in your seventies — we'll meet you where you are. The consultation at the start exists for exactly this reason. We'll tailor the pressure and technique to what your body needs.

What should I wear during treatment?

You must keep your briefs on at all times (males and females). Females may remove their bra if they wish. For Thai Traditional you remain fully clothed in loose, comfortable clothing — we can provide some if needed. Throughout your treatment you'll be covered with warm linen. Therapists reserve the right to end the treatment at any time if they feel uncomfortable.

Are all your therapists female?

Yes — all of our therapists are female.

What oil do you use?

We use an avocado base oil as standard. We can offer baby oil on request, or you're welcome to bring your own.

Can I use my phone in the room?

Please do not make or receive calls in the spa or during treatment — the spa is a quiet space for everyone to enjoy. The therapist will pause the treatment if you're on the phone. You're welcome to charge your device at the power point in the room; please keep it on silent.

Health & Wellbeing

Looking after you

I'm pregnant — when can I attend?

We accept pregnant ladies from twelve weeks onwards. Our Pregnancy Massage is specifically adapted and completely safe — gentle, nurturing, and exactly what your body needs.

I have a cold — can I still attend?

Please do not attend if you are ill or have any skin condition that weeps. Consult your doctor if you're unsure how massage may affect your health, and we'll happily rebook you when you're feeling better.

Are children allowed for treatments?

Children from the age of seven to sixteen must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times during the appointment.

Payment & Policies

Payment & the fine print

How do I pay?

Payment is primarily made through our online booking system. We also accept card and electronic payments (including Apple Pay) at the spa counter, and valid gift vouchers. In most cases, full payment for the treatment is now taken at the time of booking.

What's your cancellation policy?

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge any time before the close of business on the day before your appointment.

  • Same-day cancellations or changes: 50% of the treatment cost.
  • Within one hour of the appointment, or no-show: 100% of the treatment cost.

If a deposit has been paid, it will be lost in either case. Some of our therapists are self-employed, so a missed booking is a missed living for them — thank you for understanding.

I was late for my appointment — what happens?

Your therapist will try to give you the original treatment time if possible, but this depends on the next appointment, break times and room availability. You'll still be charged for the full treatment originally booked, even if shortened.

Can I use a gift voucher to book?

Of course. Vouchers are valid for eighteen months from the date of purchase, and redeemable against any treatment of any duration. The general terms and conditions apply when booking with a voucher — including the cancellation policy, which is deducted from the voucher value if applicable. Please bring your printout or PDF (with voucher number) on the day.

Do you do couples or back-to-back bookings?

We can usually arrange consecutive bookings for friends or partners — get in touch and we'll see what's possible on your preferred date. We do have a couples-dual-treatment room, but two appointments back-to-back works beautifully.

Are you open over Christmas & New Year?

We're closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Otherwise, open by appointment seven days a week, 9.30am – 8pm.
